Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Cocoon Languages is operated by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, trading as Cocoon Languages. These terms cover your use of the hub site cocoonlanguages.com and its new-languages waitlist. By using this site you agree to these terms. Contact: hello@cocoonlanguages.com.

2. The site and content

This hub site and its content are provided free of charge. All content — text, video, stories, artwork and branding — belongs to Cocoon Languages and is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not resell, redistribute, re-upload or bulk-download it.

3. Individual language sites and clubs

Each Cocoon language has its own site and, where available, its own paid members’ club — for example the Cocoon French Club at club.cocoonfrench.com. Membership, pricing, billing, cancellation and refunds are governed by that site’s own terms, not by this page. This hub site does not itself sell memberships.

4. The waitlist

Joining the new-languages waitlist is free and optional. It only means we’ll email you when a new Cocoon language launches. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, and joining does not create any purchase or obligation.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site: no scraping, no automated abuse of the signup form, and no interfering with the service or other people’s use of it.

6. Disclaimers

Cocoon Languages is an educational resource. We work hard to make it excellent, but we don’t guarantee particular learning outcomes, uninterrupted availability, or that content is error-free. The service is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with this site is limited to £100. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited (such as for fraud).

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts (this doesn’t deprive you of consumer protections of your country of residence).

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date above always shows the current version.
